There could be a number of reasons why your power has been cut off, including:
- The fuse may have blown at your home – Please check your fuse box to see if all switches are facing up and simply flick them upwards if not.
- Power cuts - Check with your local network distributor (energy provider) website to see if there is a power cut in your area.
- Prepayment meter out of credit - You may have a prepayment meter that has ran out of credit, please view our article ‘I have a prepayment meter, how does this work?’ to see if this is the case and ‘How do I top up the prepayment key or card?’ on how to top-up.
If none of the above apply, you can call 105 which is the 24hr national helpline so that you can speak with a local network operator who can give you help and advice.
